NEON SPACE MEN – the last chapter of 80s synth pop
Imagine the 80s. Basildon. Manchester. Sheffield. The drum machine rattles the quantized beat. The synthesizer bubbles the bass line and a falsetto voice sings romantic-mystical lyrics in hymn-like melodies.
Synth pop conquered the world in the eighties and still creates the basic understanding for the perfect pop song today. NEON SPACE MEN stand for exactly that!
Jochen, Uwe and Oliver. Three synthesizer enthusiasts from Germany. They’re not from Basildon, Manchester or Sheffield. They come from Stuttgart, Hanover and Leipzig. They have been NEON SPACE MEN since 2022.
